Book Hooks is a weekly blog hop hosted by Marketing for Romance Writers
as part of the MFRW Authors Blog.
It's a chance each week to hook readers on your current WIP or any previously published book. By sharing samples of your writing in a meme, readers will have the chance to jump from one author to another.

How to Participate

Add Your Blog Link
Each week, add your blog link to the list below (you need to do this every week you participate).
Create a blog post that includes:
An excerpt from your book
Your book cover
The book blurb
A buy link
The Book Hooks logo (optional)
The Book Hooks code (required)
Add Your Info to the MFRW Blog
Enter your title, URL to the post (be sure it does not say "preview"), your name, and your email (goes into the background for the admin to see - not the public). Click Submit.
Get the Linky List Code
Click "Get the Code here..."
Copy the code made for your blog type. There are two – one for WordPress type blogs and one for use with Blogger types, clearly marked on the page.
Paste the code into the bottom of your blog post using the HTML or text view.

Use a Unique Post Title
Choose a creative title for your post
Avoid generic titles like "Book Hooks 1."
One-word titles may be seen as spammy and are less likely to be shared.
Schedule Your Post
Set your post to publish just after midnight your time (12:01AM to 12:15 AM).
Use the Logo
Go to this link and download the Book Hooks logo, then upload it to your post.
Promote on social media
Use #MFRWHooks when sharing about your post.
Engage with Others
Explore the Linky List, read other authors' posts, leave comments, and share their content on social media.
Your link will be included on all other participating blogs, bringing traffic to your blog.
